I've been incredibly lazy posting lately lol! Sorry for the neglect of this site. I've been meaning to take pictures of my up and coming bettas for a while. I admit to neglecting them a bit, so they are still small despite their age. However, my fish tend to live very long and virile lives, and eventually get huge, so I'm not bothered at all by their slow growth rate :)

I LOVE the color on this guy. Just like his mother! Although the webbing reduction leaves a lot to be desired (and he is also quite small) I would like to breed him to the Interbettas female from Jeremy as soon as he gains some size.
This guy has beautiful copper coverage and decent webbing reduction in the anal and dorsal. The anal could be much shorter and the caudal needs more webbing reduction, but overall I am quite happy.
Here are a few females from Spawn 020114. Overall, I am not very happy with this spawn. The male has white on his face (although his color was intense) and did not have the aggressive personality of his sire. His form was also between a show PK and a traditonal PK. The yellows are extremely pale, which I did not anticipate from this cross.
This female was very scared of the photo tank - her color is usually much deeper than this. She is the one very nice show PK female from this cross, with sharp edges and beautiful symmetry. I will have to re-take her photo.
Extremely pale!! I'm so unhappy. I do not know if my husbandry of this spawn caused this, or if it is genetic. I am going to have to think about how to proceed...
