Gorgeous CTPK female by Jamie King, mother of the female that I brought home! Photo from spawn log PE26082013 on the Bettas4All forum: http://www.bettas4all.nl/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=10936&start=30
Despite my recent abandoning of the long fin CTs, I still really love CTs. So imagine how wonderful it was to see a full class of CTPKs at the Kampffishfreunde show! I had been following the development of several European and Asian CTPK lines on the Bettas4All forum, and it was absolutely wonderful to not only see them in the flesh, but also have the chance to take them home with me to the US!!!

Brother! This is the one I took home from the show, along with a fantastic sister.

Half-brother to the above spawn that I also took home.
I also brought home a half-brother of the above spawn (left).

I spawned a brother to the male above and center with a blue metallic CTPK female from Gastone Tomei (Italy) (right) a couple of days after I returned!

With these fish, I hope to bring the European CTPK craze to the US. There are very few CTPK breeders in the US (if there are, they have not been sending into Variations). I will hopefully be filling the Variations classes and try to get a CTPK trial class like they have in Area 2.
