More CTPKs in development! CTPK color 031815 and CTPK form 042014

I'm very happy with how these guys are turning out. For a while I thought that I had all females, but after they've been jarred for a couple of weeks, they make the change lol.

I am *very* happy with this female turned male! I thought she was a really great female until he starting building nests and became very aggressive. I hope that the anal fin stays short. The curve of the body is powerful, although the caudal peduncle (as all my CTPKs are) could be stronger. I have several more females" in the grow-out that are this same shade of blue (in addition to the other male I jarred and photographed earlier). I hope to preserve this color for the future!

I admit, I wasn't that impressed with this spawn for a long time. And then all of a sudden, they seemed to fill out and blossom overnight!
Picture
The only one that's decided to stay female so far. I love that broad dorsal! Perhaps CTDTPKs in the future?

The male on the left has some very cool marbling going on. However his fins lack balance at the moment, and I hope that they become more symmetrical in the future. The runty male on the right is the only one that shows mild signs of fin curling....crossing my fingers that he is the only one!

My favorite, but of course, the most difficult to photograph. The curve of his body is strong, and he has pretty good balance in his finnage. The anal is a might long, but it is balanced out by the great webbing reduction.
Intebettas female! Future outcross!

I am in love with this female! She is a generous gift from Christine, who received her from Jeremy. Her balance is superb, and I love her long and beautiful body. She has almost complete and even coverage of copper, even through the fins! She glows purple in the light :)

As soon as one of the males above (hopefully the royal blue metallic) is large enough, they will be going into the spawn tank with her!
