I decided to go ahead and publish my new website even though it is not quite finished. I just got back from a rocking weekend cycling around Lake Tahoe (72 hilly miles!) with my Sunday cycling group, the Asian Wheelmen. It was absolutely gorgeous, but I was pretty tired!
I primarily wanted to create my own website so that I could keep better track of all of my betta activities. Facebook and the Bettas4All forum are really great for sharing with my fellow betta addicts...however, it is easy to lose material on them (especially on Facebook). I hope that this website makes it easier to document and follow my betta breeding progress. For your viewing pleasure, I am aiming to update my website/blog at least once a week. I will try to vary the material to include not only my personal breeding program, but also betta show reports, visits to other fishrooms and interesting fish stores, and the occasional meeting recap.
Here are a couple photos of some up and coming juveniles that I am pretty excited about to kick start this blog. I was a little lazy and took these photos in their home containers - so sorry for the bubbles and weird light reflections lol.
PS - Yes, the title, Inglorious Bettas, stems from Inglourious Basterds, which is one of my favorite movies of all time. Mucho thanks to my boyfriend for irritably brainstorming website titles for half an hour :p
