There really are some fantastic looking bettas out there that seem to break all the genetic rules! Here are a few whose pictures I have collected.
As you know, I love yellow and red. Combine that with dragon, and you get a really unique and beautiful betta! I love this one because he looks like a Jackson Pollack painting. He sold for a whopping $300 dollars on Aquabid, and the matching female went for $65! When bettas go for prices like that, you just have to hope that they spawn LOL

This one is utterly amazing. A black non-iridescent body with bright, full coverage metal wings! He looks like a butterfly to me :)

I'm currently in the market for a CTPK male to possibly cross into my lines. I doubt I could find a female, since Thai breeders tend to guard them pretty jealously. I am also very pessimistic about finding a good traditional PK on Aquabid, so I don't even try to look for one. Possibly might get a giant for a pet. We will see! I very rarely import (or buy things in general!) so shopping has been very fun for me :)
