It's SHOW TIME!

This is where I will display our show results from all the shows that I send to, as well as write show reports for the ones that I am able to attend.

Click on the button to find out how to send your own fish to the show! If you take it one step at a time, it's pretty easy!

How to send fish to a show

California Betta Society Fall IBC Show 2014!

We had a wonderful show this past weekend! Lots of good looking fish, and of course our core group of awesome CBS club members :) I am grateful for being a part of such a wonderful club! It was also the very first show that I officially judged!

One worrying thing was the small number of entries. We had only 160 fish show up, which is roughly half of our normal numbers. People, send your fish! It's the only way that we can keep putting on our shows twice a year, one of the few clubs able to do so. We are in serious need of fundraising before our next show, which we hope to put on during the spring as usual.

The real stars of the show - KITTEHS
Rachelle found these poor little pair of kittens on the side of the road! They needed to be fed and pooped every 3 hours, so leaving them at home wasn't an option. That's ok, they were thoroughly cuddled by all!

There is also some video of the winning show fish in this video! Nothing more beautiful that a fish in full flare.
My placings
We managed to take home a few placings. I am happy that this was the debut for the crowntail plakats that I brought back from Europe. Hopefully it becomes a real class after this first year as a trial class! I showed as many as I could and also entered a few in the auction.
